Saudi Ambassador to Japan Receives young businessman delegation
in Eastern Chamber
25 000 facility each year is the annual rate to support the continuity of
small and medium enterprises

Al Barrak received the Young Business Council delegation visiting
East Chamber of Japan on the morning of Tuesday, March 29, 2016, chaired by
Musaad bin Zamil Al Zamil Chairman of the Board and that his office at the
headquarters of the embassy.
Barrak spoke during the meeting about investment opportunities in the two
countries and the importance of using them by young businessmen and
choosing the pioneer ideas which contribute in supporting the market with
distinctive products that raise the level of performance and competition that
serve the business sector, also he pointed to the importance of small and
medium enterprises and the best ways to invest in them.
Barrak stressed the need to invest in human beings, pointing that the success
of the experience of Japan, represented firstly in investing in people and
secondly supporting small and medium enterprises because they are the future of
the economy.
Zamil expressed his thanks and appreciation to Barak for the warm reception and
hospitality, stressing that the Saudi embassies represented by its ambassadors
and staff which always provide support to the people of the Kingdom and seek to
facilitate their tasks in various fields.
Zamil Said about the Japanese experience after visiting the small and medium
enterprises committee, that Japan has nine universities that offer specialized
sciences in small and medium enterprises, also it is interested in the
development and training of the heads and workers of those enterprises that
employ 30 million employees out of 43 million of the total workers in the
private sector.
Zamil mentioned that one of the main reasons of the continuity and growth of
small companies in Japan that it is always working for bigger companies
like Toyota and Sony, pointing that the activities of these facilities are
based on four cases: industry, retail, services and wholesaling.
Zamil pointed to the failure rate of the continuity of those facilities around
0.65 percent of the number of small enterprises and bankruptcy rate of 0.3 percent,
pointing that the annual rate of non-continuity of small and medium enterprises
is 25,000 facility yearly and around 12,000 facility get bankrupted
annually.
The delegation within the program of visits has met officials at Toyota for the
second day, where they were greeted by the company's Chief Executive Officer
of Naqata who stressed the depth of relations between the two countries,
and stressed the need to exchange expertise and investment opportunities
between the two countries, noting that investment in Saudi Arabia is currently
considered the most ideal ,considering the strength of its economy and its
wise policy in dealing with the varied events.
He pointed that the secret of the success of Toyota internationally
is the quality in design and respect for the client, confirming that the
company has become linked to Adul latif Jameel company, they
represented an international success story together, stressing that the
beginning of the cooperation was importing four cars for four-wheel drive to be
used in rough road.
For his part, Vicar of the Council Badr Alrezeza said that the delegation
has viewed several experiments and got to know the success stories
of many Japanese entrepreneurs during the visits that included the
small and medium enterprises committee,, stressing that the delegation will
continue getting ideas and informations from the young business sector in Japan
to invest them later in the Kingdom.
